The Berry House
An interactive exhibition for all ages! Artisan workshops, touristic information hub, country house, conference and wedding venue at Jásd,
at the eastern gate of Bakony Hills.
"The Jásdians are the elderberry people" – a play on words referring to the inhabitants of Jásd, a village on the eastern ridge of Bakony, reflected also in the (Elder)Berry House opened in Spring 2021. Through an interactive permanent exhibition, our visitors are presented with the many uses of elderberry and its relation to the people of Jásd. The gallery of the Berry House is open all year round and hosts temporary exhibitions. Feel free to browse our elderberry products in our gift shop! Our tourism office welcomes you with a wide variety of programmes and relaxation ideas! We wish you a pleasant and relaxing stay!

Energe of the Soul
One of our earliest pilgrimage sites, the mirificial Szentkút (Holy well), as well as our thematic pilgrimage trail and sacral waypoints offer a refreshment for both body and soul in Jásd.
The Wheel turns
Presenting the wheel as an universal symbol in our thematic route "The Wheel Turns". Acquaint yourself with the wheel of time, the workings behinds the wheels of windmills and watermills, the rotunda (circular church) and round dumplings – at Jásd, Szápár, Bakonynána, Öskü.
Impetus in Jásd
A section of the national Blue Trail, orienteering, long distance hiking, geocaching, MTB venues, nordic walking events as well as football pitch await our visitors seeking a connection with nature.

Visiting days: open from Tuesday to Sunday
Our centre is closed on Mondays.
Last tickets may be purchased 30 minutes before closing time.
Our Berry House may welcome groups of 15+ after regular hours following a preliminary registration.

The Berry House and the Regional County House located in the yard may be visited by purchasing a single ticket. Please do not bring pets into the exhibition rooms.
